Professional Portrait and Event photographer

I’m a photographer raised in Ireland but based in Berlin. I believe everything has an interesting story, if you know how to look. This is the basis of all my work. Black and white allows my subjects to tell their own stories, freed from the psychology and conventions of colour theory. My work has been exhibited and featured in various galleries and publications.

People, always, are at the centre of what I do. Connection is the foundation of all of my work, finding some presence or absence of myself in the people I get to work with and exploring that through my own process.

Anonymity is something I am always exploring through my work, an ongoing project I will never complete. Abstraction also dominates my work, presenting the familiar as unfamiliar, skewing the ordinary.
